It was a little bit because I wanted a cleaner look, but mostly because the letters kept falling off the wall and taking paint with them and it usually just said “mg”.

It was given to us by a friend who was moving a couple of years ago and we were just holding on to it until we got around to fixing it up..Living in this house that’s mostly kind of trashed, hasn’t been renovated for about 30-40 years in a lot of the rooms, with all these dark finishes that never seem to be really clean kind of gets to me sometimes.

Or a lot of the time..While I love rustic finishes on just about anything, I’ve been craving the feeling of a bright, clean house lately.You can see why from just this little glimpse of our room..

So I painted the dresser white and got shiny bright new hardware for it too!.I just feel so much better.. And I bet it’s was way cheaper than any hour of therapy too!.
